Shirlene was born in California on Dec 20, 1954  to Marvin and Loretta McDonald.   She has now lived in the Pacific Northwest for the last 26 years. She's an accomplished, published, International, full time artist. Her creativity is natural talent, often mixed with a little "mad scientist". Her art is largely inspired from the essence of nature and personal passions that make up her world. And her work is often recognized by the eclectic line-work reflecting her
Native American and Celtic roots.

Her illustrations span 30+ years of book covers, tape / CD covers, advertisements, magazine.... And her Fine Art can be found in galleries, stores, productions, and private collections
around the world!

She's currently under contract with Flying Colors, Inc.,
a world wide publisher of prints and posters.
